2011 Results!
While we didn't cover as many miles this year, we did have an outstanding turn out. The date change for the 2011 event introduced some cold weather for our commuters. However, we still had a lot of riders and a lot of fun.
By The Numbers
- Total miles ridden to work: 18641
- That means we saved around 888 gallons of gas!(According to the EPA, the US average mileage is 21 mpg)
- Or, if you think of the price of gas at $3.96/gal, we saved $3,516.48 this week by riding to work.
- We had 828 riders recording miles that were members of 87 teams.
